What is the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame?

We made the Hall of Fame by earning a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence every year for the past five years. To award a Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor:

“uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the Certificate of Excellence honourees, it takes into account the quality, quantity and recency of reviews and opinions submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period, as well as a business’s tenure and ranking on the site’s Popularity Index.”

“TripAdvisor is an invaluable tool for us. It’s great for customer feedback, so that we know what we’re getting right and where we can make improvements. It also gives our company credibility when customers are browsing online and choosing who to tour with. Luckily our customers are generally very happy! We’re very proud to have achieved Hall of Fame status – it’s testament to our hard-working staff and ongoing process improvements.”
