Half day fishing charters into the outer Queen Charlotte Sound

This fishing excursion is a great option for those who want to take a group of friends or family out for half a day’s fishing in the Queen Charlotte Sound. You will venture a little further and see some of the spectacular scenery that the Marlborough Sounds is famous for.

MV Tory is a 35-foot vessel designed specifically for fishing in the Marlborough Sounds. It has good cover and is suitable for all ages.

All fishing gear, tackle and bait (along with our local and experienced skipper) is included in the charter price.

Departure times are flexible – either morning or afternoon. The choice is yours, providing someone hasn’t beaten you to it!

Please note:

Our charter prices are based on 1–6 people travelling, and an additional NZ$50 per extra person applies (for up to 10 people).
At certain times of year blue cod is catch and release only. See our FAQ page for more information about this.
