If you enjoy fishing and are keen to get out a little further than most to find your catch, then these full-day fishing charter options are for you! Bring your own refreshments or if you feel you need to step back on land for a bite, then the Queen Charlotte Sound offers a range of great resorts for lunch. This fishing trip may include venturing out to locations such as Port Gore, Jordy Rocks and Ship Cove. These itinerary options are all weather dependent on the day.

MV Tory is a 35 foot vessel designed specifically for fishing in the Marlborough Sounds. It has good cover and is suitable for all ages. All fishing gear, tackle and bait, as well as our local and experienced skipper are included in the charter price. Departure times are flexible and the choice is yours.

Our charter prices are based on 1 to 6 people travelling, and an additional NZ$50 per extra person applies (for up to 10 people). At certain times of year blue cod is catch and release only. The MV Tory is based out of Picton. We can pick up from Sounds’ resorts and bays with travel time included as part of the charter – we will advise at time of booking. If staying in Picton or Blenheim you will need to make your own way to the vessel. We are very happy to arrange transport from your accommodation at an additional cost, please enquire upon booking.
